This well-structured five-week course is aimed at musicians/singers as well as non-musicians/lyricists who would like to explore and develop the art and craft of songwriting and get their creative juices flowing.
The intensive 2 hour sessions cover essential topics such as inspiration & themes, lyrics & music, melody & hook, formats & structures and tools & techniques, while taking an creative, practical and interactive approach.
Musical knowledge and/or instrumental skills are an advantage but not necessarily essential.
